About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Corsham, Wiltshire, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help nurture children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a caring nursery environment. You will join a nursery group committed to high-quality early education and giving every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.
- Help meet children’s daily care needs, encouraging independence and positive relationships.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to planning activities that reflect their interests and needs.
- Work closely with colleagues and communicate with parents and carers to support each child’s development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 2 qualification in childcare or early years education.
- An understanding of early childhood development and learning through play.
- A caring, patient approach and enthusiasm for helping children thrive.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- A commitment to safeguarding children and providing high-quality care.
