About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a caring nursery environment. You will support high-quality early education and help give every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where children feel safe and supported.
- Observe children’s progress and help plan activities that reflect their individual needs and interests.
- Support daily care routines, encouraging children’s confidence and independence.
- Work closely with colleagues and communicate with parents and carers about children’s wellbeing and development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures to promote children’s welfare.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 2 qualification in early years or childcare.
- An understanding of young children’s learning, care and developmental needs.
- A caring, patient approach and enthusiasm for helping children thrive.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- A commitment to safeguarding and providing high-quality early years education.
