About the Role
Busy Bees is seeking a Nursery Manager for its Worplesdon nursery in the Woking area of Surrey. In this full-time role, you will lead a nursery team in providing safe, caring and high-quality early education, helping children get the very best start in life. You will combine day-to-day nursery management with a focus on supporting colleagues, building relationships with families and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, creating a welcoming and well-organised environment.
- Support and develop the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years care and education.
- Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding, children’s wellbeing and safe working practices.
- Oversee educational provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping children’s needs at the centre of decisions.
- Monitor nursery standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
- A relevant early years qualification and experience of leading within a nursery setting.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding responsibilities.
- The ability to motivate, support and develop a team.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence in managing day-to-day nursery priorities.
- Clear communication skills and a caring, professional approach to working with children and families.
