Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of childcare and early education.
- Support and motivate the nursery team to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Oversee delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting each child's development.
- Promote safeguarding, children's wellbeing and a safe, welcoming nursery environment.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping children's needs at the heart of nursery life.
What You'll Need
- A Level 3 childcare qualification.
- At least two years of leadership experience in early years settings.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and how to put it into practice.
- The ability to inspire colleagues and lead a supportive, child-centred team.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding and a genuine passion for nurturing young children.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with families.
