About the Role
Join Witherslack Group as a full-time Night Support Worker in its children’s homes in Kendal, Cumbria. Working waking nights on a 4-on, 4-off rota, you’ll help provide a safe, supportive environment for young people. You’ll be there through challenging moments and small victories, helping young people enjoy their childhood and build towards adulthood.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive support to young people throughout the night.
- Help maintain a safe, calm and welcoming home environment.
- Offer reassurance when young people feel unsettled or need someone to talk to.
- Support night-time routines while respecting each young person’s individual needs.
- Work with colleagues to share relevant information and maintain continuity of care.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriately.
