About the Role
Bright Purple Resourcing is recruiting a .NET Developer for a contract opportunity with a global technology leader serving the energy sector. Based in Aberdeen, you will join a close-knit core software team tackling complex engineering problems and developing software used by clients worldwide. The team owns the full product lifecycle, offering scope to contribute beyond a single stage of development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain .NET software for applications in the energy sector.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, from understanding requirements through to delivery and ongoing improvements.
- Work with fellow engineers to solve complex technical problems.
- Write, test and review code to support reliable, maintainable software.
- Investigate software issues and help improve product performance and quality.
What You'll Need
- Experience developing software using .NET technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to technical problem-solving.
- An understanding of software testing, code quality and maintainable development practices.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a close-knit engineering team.
- Availability to work from the Aberdeen office three days per week.
