About the Role
Stoneacre Motor Group is recruiting an MOT Technician for a permanent role in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. This Nissan-focused opportunity involves MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance to help keep customers’ vehicles ready for the road. You will work across a diverse range of vehicles and models, taking pride in delivering safe, high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests in line with current testing standards and requirements.
- Complete vehicle servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
- Identify vehicle faults and assess the work needed to resolve them.
- Check completed work to ensure vehicles meet appropriate safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing and repair work.
- Follow workshop health and safety procedures and keep your work area organised.
What You'll Need
- Relevant motor vehicle technician qualifications and practical workshop experience.
- Appropriate MOT tester authorisation and knowledge of current testing requirements.
- Experience in vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, repairs and maintenance.
- A thorough approach to quality, accuracy and vehicle safety.
- The ability to work effectively with workshop colleagues and take responsibility for your work.
