About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division, delivering vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting. This full-time role is advertised in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, and forms part of the Harlow cluster, covering areas including Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Waltham Abbey. You’ll combine practical technical work with professional customer service, helping keep customers’ vehicles safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs across the cluster’s coverage area.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard, following relevant procedures.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing and repairs.
- Manage your daily workload and travel between customer appointments.

- A base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
