About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) Division, based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This full-time role focuses on mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair rather than roadside rescue. You’ll bring practical technical expertise and a professional approach to delivering vehicle care in a mobile setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a high professional standard.
- Explain work carried out and any further maintenance needs clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.

- Availability to work the advertised hours, including one in four Saturdays.

- A base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- A full-time, 40-hour working week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
- A mobile technical role within RAC’s SMR Division, focused on servicing, maintenance and repair rather than roadside rescue.
