About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division, delivering vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting. This full-time role is part of the Taunton cluster, covering Taunton, Wellington in Somerset, Minehead, Watchet and Williton. You will combine practical technical skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs across the Taunton cluster.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard.
- Explain findings and work carried out clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile role.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- A commitment to safe working practices and quality workmanship.
- The ability to travel across the coverage area and work the stated Saturday rota.
