About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division, delivering vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs through a mobile service. This full-time role is listed in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, and forms part of the High Wycombe cluster, covering areas including Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Marlow and Beaconsfield. You’ll combine practical technical skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs at customers’ locations across the cluster.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard, following relevant procedures.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and keep tools and equipment ready for use.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile role and manage your daily workload.

- A competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
