About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) Division, covering the Derby area with the role listed in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a full-time opportunity focused on mobile servicing, maintenance and repairs rather than roadside rescue. You will bring technical expertise and a customer-focused approach to delivering vehicle care in a mobile setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile environment.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain required work and repair outcomes clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs completed.
What You'll Need
- Relevant practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong technical knowledge and a methodical approach to fault-finding.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile role.
- Clear communication skills and a commitment to good customer service.
- A safety-conscious approach and strong attention to detail.
- Availability to work the advertised hours, including one in four Saturdays.
