About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division, delivering vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs as part of a mobile team. This full-time role is part of the Barnet cluster and involves travelling across the local coverage area. You will combine hands-on technical work with professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
- Travel between appointments within the Barnet cluster.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile role.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- A commitment to safe working practices and quality workmanship.
- Availability to work the stated hours, including one in four Saturdays.
What's on Offer
- A competitive base salary of £45,370, inclusive of London Weighting Allowance where applicable.
- On-target earnings of up to £57,000.

- A full-time, 40-hour working week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
