About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) Division, delivering vehicle care through a mobile repair service. This full-time role is listed in Warrington, Cheshire, and forms part of the Liverpool cluster, covering areas including Liverpool city centre and suburbs, Bootle, Crosby and Formby. You’ll work 40 hours per week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs across your allocated area.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain findings and work carried out clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile role.
