About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its SMR Division, delivering mobile vehicle servicing and repairs. This full-time role is listed in Thorney, Peterborough, with the advertised working area forming part of the Stevenage cluster, including Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and Welwyn Garden City. You will work 40 hours per week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Complete work safely and to a high standard.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Travel between appointments across the assigned coverage area.
