About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) Division, delivering vehicle care through a mobile repair service. Based in the Aylesford area, you’ll be part of the Maidstone cluster, covering Maidstone and Medway locations including Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester and Strood. This full-time role offers a base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
- Travel between customer locations across the Maidstone cluster.

- The ability to travel across the service area and work the stated Saturday rota.
