About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) Division, covering Liverpool, Merseyside. This full-time role focuses on mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs rather than roadside rescue. You’ll bring practical technical skills and a customer-focused approach to delivering a professional mobile service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a high professional standard.
- Explain findings and work carried out clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and organise your daily workload.

- Availability to work the advertised hours, including one in four Saturdays.
What's on Offer
- A base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- A full-time, 40-hour working week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
- A mobile technical role within RAC’s SMR Division, focused on servicing, maintenance and repairs.
