About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its SMR Division, delivering mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. This full-time role is advertised in Loughton, Essex, and forms part of the Harlow cluster, covering areas including Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Waltham Abbey. You’ll bring practical technical skills and a customer-focused approach to vehicle care on the move.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs at customers’ locations.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain findings and completed repairs clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and checks.
- Travel between appointments across the Harlow cluster.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently in a mobile environment.

- The ability to travel across the area and work the stated Saturday rota.
