About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) Division, delivering vehicle care through a mobile repair service. This full-time role is advertised for Hertford, Hertfordshire, and forms part of the Harlow cluster, covering areas including Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Waltham Abbey. You’ll work 40 hours per week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations across the cluster.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair work.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
