About the Role
Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in its SMR Division, delivering mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. This full-time role is listed in Runcorn, Cheshire, and forms part of the Liverpool cluster, covering areas including Liverpool city centre and suburbs, Bootle, Crosby and Formby. You’ll bring practical technical skills and a customer-focused approach to vehicle care on the move.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a mobile setting.
- Assess vehicle faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Complete work safely and to a professional standard.
- Explain findings and any work required clearly to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and completed jobs.
- Travel between customer locations across the designated coverage area.

What's on Offer
- A base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- A full-time, 40-hour working week, with core hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and one in four Saturdays.
