About the Role
TECREC LTD is recruiting an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer for a permanent opportunity with a major facilities management provider. Based around Hertford, the role covers a varied portfolio of commercial sites across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests, investigating faults and completing appropriate repairs.
- Travel between commercial sites across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
- Complete work safely and in line with relevant gas safety requirements and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate maintenance findings to the relevant teams.
What You'll Need
- Experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer in commercial buildings.
- Relevant commercial gas qualifications for the work undertaken.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience of planned and reactive maintenance.
- A practical understanding of gas safety requirements and safe working practices.
- The ability to manage a mobile workload independently and communicate professionally with site contacts.
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the regional portfolio.
