About the Role
S1R Limited is recruiting MIG Welders through Staff One for a two-month contract in Rotherham (S60), South Yorkshire. The role involves MIG welding and fabrication of structural and construction steel, working from detailed engineering drawings. An immediate start is available, with day and night shift patterns listed.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG welding on structural and construction steel.
- Fabricate steel components in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Measure, mark out and cut materials to the required dimensions.
- Check completed work for accuracy and weld quality.
- Follow safe working practices when using welding and fabrication equipment.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
- The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Accurate measuring, marking out and cutting skills.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A sound understanding of safe working practices in a fabrication environment.
- Availability for a two-month contract in Rotherham, ideally starting as soon as possible.
