Requirements: Candidates must be BPSS eligibleWe're looking for a Senior MIM Engineer to join an experienced Identity and Access Management team, providing L2/L3 support across a highly customised Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environment.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting into complex identity issues, troubleshooting technical problems and finding permanent solutions. You'll work closely with security, infrastructure and operational teams to keep critical identity services stable, secure and performing effectively.What you'll be doing:Provide L2/L3 support for a highly customised Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environmentSupport identity life cycle management, provisioning and synchronisation servicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex IAM incidentsCarry out root cause analysis and implement permanent fixesSupport integrations across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and other identity platformsMaintain technical documentation, procedures and support runbooksIdentify opportunities for automation, service improvement and platform optimisationWhat we're looking for:Extensive hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) in an enterprise environmentStrong experience with highly customised MIM implementationsProven L2/L3 support experience within business-critical IAM environmentsStrong understanding of Identity and Access Management, including Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes, Identity Lifecycle Management and Access GovernanceStrong Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity experiencePowerShell Scripting experienceAbility to review and troubleshoot C#/.NET code used within MIM customisationsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExperience with any of the following would be beneficial:OktaBeyondTrustPrivileged Access Management (PAM)CyberArkSailPointMicrosoft Identity GovernanceSecure, regulated or highly controlled environmentsSecurity ClearanceThis role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.
