Working within the Upholstery Manufacturing cell, you will carry out practical manufacturing tasks to produce complete kits, built-up products and finished parts. The role involves interpreting manufacturing instructions, shaping foam and bonding components with care and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut parts into complete kits, referencing drawings, templates, work instructions and samples.
- Shape foam using appropriate cutting tools.
- Apply adhesives using spatulas, brushes and spray guns to bond a variety of parts.
- Assemble bonded components into built-up products and finished parts.
- Use small hand tools, including scissors and knives, safely and accurately.
