About the Role
Kier Group is looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineer to join its United Utilities Water Framework team in the North West, with the role listed in Warrington, Cheshire. You will support the delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works across water projects. This is a permanent position working 45 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours available for discussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of mechanical and electrical engineering works across the water framework.
- Help coordinate instrumentation, control and automation activities alongside mechanical and electrical works.
- Work with project colleagues and delivery partners to support effective planning and execution.
- Monitor progress and help identify technical issues that could affect delivery.
- Support compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and health and safety standards.
What You'll Need
- Relevant mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge and project delivery experience.
- An understanding of how mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems work together.
- A practical approach to resolving engineering issues and coordinating project activities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
- A strong commitment to safe working and quality standards.
- The right to work in the UK without sponsorship, as certificates of sponsorship are not available for this role.
