About the Role
Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Mammographer to join Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex, on a part-time basis, working 10 hours per week across two days. You will support the delivery of high-quality mammography services, with patient care and comfort at the centre of your work. Join the hospital during a period of development and expansion, with new technology being introduced to enhance the patient experience and support clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mammography examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and professional standards.
- Explain procedures clearly and provide sensitive, reassuring support to patients.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation protection and patient safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Work closely with clinical colleagues to support an efficient, patient-focused service.
- Contribute to equipment quality assurance and continuous improvements in practice.
What You'll Need
- A relevant radiography qualification and appropriate professional registration.
- Specialist training in mammography and the clinical competence to perform examinations safely.

- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
