About the Role
North Devon Homes (NDH Ltd) is looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join its Asset Management team in Barnstaple, covering the surrounding areas. You will supervise day-to-day investment delivery activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to lead, support and develop a dedicated team, working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of maintenance and investment works.
- Coordinate team workloads to support efficient delivery and agreed priorities.
- Monitor the quality of work and help resolve issues as they arise.
- Promote safe working practices across all activities under your supervision.
- Support and develop team members, providing clear direction and practical guidance.
- Communicate progress and operational issues within the Asset Management team.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience in maintenance, construction or property improvement work.
- Experience leading or supervising a team and supporting colleagues to deliver quality work.
- A sound understanding of safe working practices and quality standards.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and clear communication skills.
- The ability to oversee work in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
