About the Role
KP Snacks is looking for a Maintenance Lead to join its on-site team in Billingham, County Durham, on a permanent, Monday-to-Friday basis. Working at the home of McCoy’s, Wheat Crunchies, Pom-Bear and more, you’ll help lead maintenance activity in a food manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activity to support safe, reliable production.
- Help prioritise planned maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Work with engineering and production colleagues to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Support improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
- Promote safe working practices and appropriate hygiene standards throughout maintenance work.
What You'll Need
- A background in engineering maintenance, ideally within manufacturing.
- The ability to lead maintenance activities and coordinate priorities effectively.
- Practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and reliable equipment performance.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
- Availability to work on site in Billingham, Monday to Friday.
