About the Role
Ramsay Health Care is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help maintain the upkeep and presentation of the hospital, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, suited to a reliable individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day maintenance and the general upkeep of hospital facilities.
- Carry out routine checks and report faults or maintenance concerns to the Facilities Manager.
- Assist with minor repairs and general maintenance tasks within your capabilities and authorisation.
- Help keep shared areas tidy, well presented and safe to use.
- Follow health and safety procedures, taking care to minimise disruption to hospital activities.
