About the Role
VANRATH is recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor with Ancillary Duties for a temporary contract in Ballynahinch, County Down. Working under the direction of the Catering Manager, you will supervise children in school dining areas and other designated areas. You will work independently and as part of a team to help maintain a safe, orderly and welcoming lunchtime environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children during lunchtime in school dining areas and other designated spaces.
- Maintain discipline and encourage appropriate behaviour in line with school procedures.
- Support children in following lunchtime routines and using shared spaces safely.
- Work with the Catering Manager and colleagues to provide effective supervision.
- Carry out ancillary duties as directed and report any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.

- The ability to encourage positive behaviour and respond appropriately to concerns.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to follow school procedures and undertake ancillary duties.

- An advertised hourly rate of £13.63.
- A temporary contract based in Ballynahinch.
- Weekday lunchtime work, with 15 hours advertised per week.
- Advertised working times of Monday to Friday, 11am to 2:30pm; the weekly hours and schedule should be confirmed during the application process.
