At Right2Work, we believe that everyone deserves meaningful and purposeful employment. We offer a supportive working environment where employees are encouraged to develop personally and professionally, with opportunities to grow as colleagues and future leaders. In return for your commitment and dedication, we provide a role that offers genuine purpose and job satisfaction. About the role: Future Choices is a five-day-a-week Personal Development Programme supporting adults aged 18+ with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our purpose is simple: to build confidence, develop independence and create real-life opportunities that enable learners to become active, valued members of their communities. We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and proactive Lead Trainer who will play a hands-on role in delivering the programme, motivating learners and colleagues, and creating meaningful opportunities for personal development. You will be a visible, active and involved leader, who is prepared to work alongside learners, deliver engaging activities, build relationships and turn everyday experiences into valuable learning opportunities. We believe personal development comes from doing, experiencing, trying, reflecting and having another go. A supermarket visit can develop skills with money, communication, choice and independence. A community activity can develop travel skills, citizenship, wellbeing and belonging. You will encourage learners and your team to have a go, try something different, learn from mistakes, keep going and celebrate progress. About You: As Lead Trainer, you will bring our six key areas to life through practical, inclusive and person-centered learning: • Building Wellbeing & Self-Belief - Building confidence, resilience, relationships, identity • Everyday Life Skills - Developing practical skills for routines, organisation, money, food, travel, communication and problem-solving. • Life in the Community & Citizenship - Supporting learners to access their communities, understand their rights and responsibilities and become active participants. • Opportunities for Now & the Future - Exploring interests, aspirations, volunteering, work experience, employability and meaningful future opportunities. • Nurturing Independence & Self-Advocacy - Developing choice, communication, decision-making and the confidence to express needs, preferences and aspirations. • Growth & Personal Progress - Setting meaningful goals, recognising achievements, overcoming barriers and celebrating progress. You will actively seek out new experiences, community opportunities, partnerships and pathways that reflect learners' interests and aspirations, helping turn what they enjoy into opportunities to learn, participate and grow. The Person We're Looking For Above all, you will have an encouraging, motivating and positive attitude. You will naturally see potential in people and ask: “What could we do next” You will be: • Inspirational - motivating learners and colleagues to achieve more. • Encouraging - building confidence and celebrating progress. • Proactive - actively seeking new opportunities and experiences. • Creative & practical - turning interests and everyday experiences into meaningful learning. • Community-focused - passionate about inclusion, participation and belonging. • Person-centered - recognising individual strengths, needs and aspirations. • Resilient & adaptable - finding solutions when things don't go to plan. • A strong leader & communicator - building positive relationships and motivating others. • An advocate for possibility - seeing what someone could achieve, not simply what they can do today. Experience of working with adults with SEND is highly desirable, alongside an understanding of person-centered practice, positive risk-taking, safeguarding and promoting independence. What Success Looks Like As Lead Trainer, you will help create a programme where learners: • Feel valued and belong, and build confidence in their communities. • Recognise their strengths and try things they never thought they could do. • Develop practical skills for everyday life. • Make choices and have their voices heard. • Explore work, volunteering and future opportunities. • Develop meaningful relationships and experiences. • Become increasingly independent. • Recognise and celebrate their own progress. This is an opportunity to do more than deliver a programme. It is an opportunity to create experiences, open doors, build confidence and change what learners believe is possible for themselves. xrexnqw If you are an energetic, compassionate and forward-thinking leader who wants to inspire a team, create opportunities and help adults with SEND develop the skills and confidence to live fulfilling lives, we would love to hear from you.
