About the Role
Inspire People, in partnership with the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST), is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer for a contract role in Farringdon, Central London. You will join a mission-driven digital team building reliable, secure and scalable services that support economic growth across the UK. As a Senior SRE Squad Lead, you will combine technical leadership with the development of engineers to help build resilient digital services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a squad of engineers, supporting effective delivery and technical growth.
- Guide Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps practices to improve service reliability and resilience.
- Support the design and operation of secure, scalable cloud platforms.
- Use infrastructure as code to deliver consistent, repeatable infrastructure changes.
- Work with the wider digital team to identify operational improvements and strengthen service performance.
