About the Role
Ramsay Health Care is recruiting an experienced Lead Ophthalmology Scrub Practitioner to support its Ophthalmology Service at Cherwell Hospital in Banbury. This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week, combining specialist scrub practice with clinical leadership. You will join a supportive, welcoming team, with opportunities to develop your experience alongside clinical colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled scrub support across a range of ophthalmology procedures.
- Offer clinical leadership to support safe, effective care within the Ophthalmology Service.
- Work closely with the theatre team to prepare for procedures and support their smooth delivery.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical practice.
- Support colleagues by sharing specialist knowledge and promoting collaborative working.
What You'll Need
- Experience as an ophthalmology scrub practitioner, with knowledge of a range of ophthalmic procedures.
- Previous clinical leadership experience.
- The ability to apply specialist clinical skills in a theatre environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
