About the Role
Street Burger is looking for a fun and energetic Kitchen Team Leader to join its Reading restaurant on a permanent basis. Located by The Riverside at The Oracle Shopping Centre, the restaurant serves signature burgers, seasoned fries, flaming hot wings, shakes and cocktails. As a Back of House Team Leader, you will help lead the kitchen team and keep service running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the back-of-house team during preparation and service.
- Help ensure dishes are prepared and presented consistently to the restaurant’s standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Communicate with front-of-house colleagues to support timely, organised service.
- Guide team members with day-to-day tasks and encourage a positive working atmosphere.
- Support stock rotation and careful use of ingredients to minimise waste.
