Junior Estimator (Electrical/ M&E Projects) Location: Dartford Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Due to growth, my client, a leading M&E Building Services provider are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. The Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in analysing project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates. This position requires the Estimator to have a strong understanding of cost control and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Duties Prepare all required project related estimates by reviewing/gathering contract detail, drawings, specifications and any other related documents, including on site attendance. Manage all estimate deadlines in a priority and organised method. Evaluate and highlight any operational and commercial risk before agreeing to proceed, following the requirements of the bid / no bid process. Support with all Health and Safety issues. Ensure the company Project “Handover and Mobilisation checklist” is completed to the required standard. Identify all labour, material, specialist and time requirements offering the most compliant scope and cost. Skills Understanding of mechanical, electrical and building services Ability to deal with people across a broad spectrum of skills and levels. Advanced organisational and time management skills. A high level of drive and energy.
