Your new role HR Administrator (Temporary Contract)Location: Chilcompton (3 days office-based, 2 days from home)Salary: £28,000 equivalent (£14.80 per hour)Duration: Until December 2026Start Date: ASAPAre you an organised administrator looking to develop your career within Human Resources?We're recruiting for a fantastic temporary HR Administrator opportunity with a well-established, values-led international business based in Somerset. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on HR experience, working as part of a supportive HR Operations team during a busy period of growth and seasonal recruitment activity.This role would suit an experienced administrator looking to move into HR, or someone with existing HR administration experience seeking their next challenge. The Role Working closely with the HR Operations team, HR Advisors and HR Business Partners, you'll provide end-to-end administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring employees receive an efficient, professional and confidential HR service.Key responsibilities will include: Supporting onboarding and recruitment activity during peak periods Preparing contracts, offer letters and employment documentation Managing employee records and maintaining accurate HR system data Conducting Right to Work checks and supporting compliance activities Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes Managing and responding to HR inbox enquiries Liaising with payroll to ensure employee records are accurate and up to date Coordinating completion of mandatory training and inductions Supporting employee benefits administration Assisting with wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Working closely with HR colleagues to deliver a high-quality employee experience
What you'll need to succeed We're looking for someone who enjoys administration, has exceptional attention to detail and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
