About the Role
H&G Recruitment Solutions is recruiting HGV Drivers for afternoon shifts in Warrington, Cheshire. This contract opportunity offers start times between 10:00 and 16:00, with immediate starts available. Both experienced drivers and newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV vehicles safely and in accordance with road transport regulations.
- Complete allocated transport duties and follow route instructions.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driving records.
- Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and working time requirements.
- Communicate professionally with the transport team and customers.
What You'll Need
- A valid HGV driving licence appropriate to the vehicle being driven.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph credentials where required.
- An understanding of vehicle safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
- Availability for shifts starting between 10:00 and 16:00.
- A reliable, safety-conscious approach and good communication skills.
