Coventry £15.00 per hour 07:00 – 16:00 Long-Term & Short-Term Opportunities Available Workchain is currently recruiting for experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a well-established and highly respected vehicle rental company based in Coventry. This role involves the delivery of HGV Class 2 vehicles to customers across the UK, representing a company that has built an excellent reputation within the industry. As such, successful candidates will be expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times. Key Responsibilities: Conducting daily vehicle checks prior to departure.
Delivering vehicles safely and efficiently to customer locations nationwide.
Completing all delivery paperwork accurately and professionally.
Providing excellent customer service during vehicle handovers.
Representing the company in a professional manner and upholding its reputation.
Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues throughout the working day.
About the Role: Working hours are typically 07:00 – 16:00 , although some flexibility may be required depending on delivery locations and traffic conditions. Deliveries can be made anywhere across the UK, therefore applicants must be comfortable with long-distance driving and flexible with travel requirements. Once a vehicle has been delivered, drivers will either: Be collected by another driver in a company van, or
Return via train for more local deliveries, with all travel costs covered by the client.
Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
Valid CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
Comfortable with nationwide travel and long-distance driving.
