About the Role
Omnia Resourcing Ltd. is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a permanent opportunity based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, delivering for a client in the Manchester area. Both newly qualified and experienced drivers are welcome, with paid training available. You'll work as part of a two-person delivery crew, Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 05:00 and weekends off.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and in line with road transport regulations.
- Complete approximately 5–8 delivery drops per day as part of a two-person crew.
- Work with your crew member to handle deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any defects or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and provide a professional service at each stop.
What You'll Need
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence, with newly qualified drivers welcome.
- The relevant Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- A safety-conscious approach to driving and handling deliveries.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability for early starts between 04:00 and 05:00, Monday to Friday.
What's on Offer
- Advertised salary of £40,000, with the role details also quoting £804 per week and earnings of £45,000; confirm the pay structure when applying.
