About the Role
AVTAV LTD is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for a fast-paced airside operation in Manchester, Greater Manchester. You will help ensure aircraft are fully catered, stocked and ready for departure, with a focus on safety, efficiency and punctuality. This is a full-time, ongoing contract role within an operation running seven days a week, including public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles safely within the airside operation.
- Deliver catering supplies and stock to aircraft to support scheduled departures.
- Support the safe loading, unloading and handling of aircraft supplies.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report defects or operational issues promptly.
- Follow airport security requirements, airside procedures and health and safety standards.
- Work closely with colleagues to complete deliveries efficiently and on time.
What You'll Need
- A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence and the relevant professional driving qualifications.
- A safety-first approach to driving and handling goods.
- Good time management and the ability to work in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
- Clear communication skills and a reliable, team-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts across a seven-day operation, including public holidays.
- Willingness to comply with airport security checks and airside working procedures.
