About the Role
Pertemps Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers in Neasden, North West London, to support Royal Mail’s nationwide depot-to-depot operations. This full-time, temporary/ongoing opportunity involves trunking between depots, with no handballing required. The work is suited to skilled, safety-focused drivers seeking consistent assignments for the remainder of 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking runs between Royal Mail depots.
- Transport loads safely and professionally, following planned routes and schedules.
- Complete vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
- Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate journey records and communicate with depot teams.
What You'll Need
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card.
- The driving skills and safety awareness needed for nationwide trunking work.
- A sound understanding of drivers’ hours and vehicle safety requirements.
- A reliable, professional approach and clear communication skills.
