About the Role
Euro Projects Recruitment is recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor for a permanent role with a manufacturing and engineering business in the Nottingham, Nottinghamshire area. The business manufactures mechanical and electrical assemblies for the nuclear, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors. This opportunity would suit someone with health and safety experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment who values a good work–life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day health and safety activities across the manufacturing environment.
- Help identify workplace hazards and maintain appropriate risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Advise colleagues on health and safety procedures and promote a positive safety culture.
- Assist with workplace inspections, incident investigations and follow-up actions.
- Maintain health and safety records and support continuous improvement in safety standards.
What You'll Need
- Experience or exposure to health and safety, EHS or SHE activities, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
- An understanding of workplace risks associated with manufacturing operations.
- A practical approach to identifying hazards and supporting safer ways of working.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across a business.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail when maintaining safety documentation.
