About the Role
Berwick Partners is partnering with Gill Group to appoint a Head of Systems Engineering in Lymington, Hampshire, on a permanent, hybrid basis. Gill is an independent British engineering business with more than 40 years of experience developing high-performance sensing, measurement and environmental monitoring technologies used worldwide. This senior engineering role offers the opportunity to contribute to a business recognised for technical innovation, quality and reliability, serving markets including renewable energy, meteorology, marine, defence and industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for systems engineering activities.
- Guide the development of system requirements and technical approaches for sensing, measurement and monitoring technologies.
- Work across engineering disciplines to support integrated, reliable product development.
- Promote robust engineering practices, technical reviews and effective management of technical risks.
- Support engineering colleagues in maintaining high standards of quality and technical delivery.
What You'll Need
