About the Role
BPHA is seeking a Head of Development Delivery to lead the delivery of high-quality affordable homes and make a lasting impact on communities across its operating area. Based in Bedford with hybrid working, this permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to turn development ambitions into reality. You will lead a team of development professionals, providing direction and oversight to help deliver successful housing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of affordable housing developments, keeping quality and community needs at the forefront.
- Manage and support a team of development professionals, setting clear priorities and encouraging effective collaboration.
- Translate development ambitions into practical delivery plans and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
- Oversee project programmes, budgets and risks to support successful delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners to resolve challenges and maintain momentum.
- Promote continuous improvement across development delivery activities.
What You'll Need
- Significant experience in property development delivery, with an understanding of affordable housing.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a professional team.
- Experience overseeing complex projects, including programmes, budgets and delivery risks.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills across a range of stakeholders.
