About the Role
Cedar Recruitment is recruiting a Group Financial Operations Manager for a leading organisation in the charity sector, based in Strand, Central London. This permanent, hybrid role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000 per annum. You will lead and develop the Group’s transactional finance functions, overseeing Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Payroll to support effective day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group’s transactional finance functions across Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Payroll.
- Manage and develop the finance operations team, supporting accurate and timely delivery.
- Oversee invoicing, receipts and supplier payments, ensuring effective ledger management.
- Oversee payroll processes to support accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain effective financial controls and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to resolve transactional finance queries and support service delivery.
What You'll Need
- A relevant professional accountancy qualification.
- Experience managing transactional finance operations, including sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to support and develop a finance team.
- A sound understanding of financial controls and effective finance processes.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build productive working relationships.
