About the Role
Ribbons and Reeves Limited is recruiting a Geography Graduate Learning Support Assistant for an inclusive sixth form in Kensington & Chelsea, West London. This contract role offers the opportunity to put your subject knowledge to use while supporting students aged 16–19 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those studying A-Level Geography. An immediate start is sought.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with SEND to access learning and take part in sixth-form lessons.
- Use your Geography knowledge to help students understand subject content, including A-Level topics.
- Work alongside teaching staff to provide support suited to individual learning needs.
- Help students develop confidence, independence and effective study habits.
- Contribute to an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Geography and confidence in your subject knowledge.
- An interest in education and supporting young people aged 16–19.
- A patient, adaptable approach to working with students with SEND.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain geographical concepts accessibly.
- A willingness to work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
