About the Role
Reactive Recruitment is recruiting a Finishing Foreman for a permanent position with a civils contractor based in Banbridge, County Down. The contractor works across Northern Ireland and Ireland on roads, drainage, groundworks and infrastructure projects, with this role covering projects from Dublin up to Banbridge. You will oversee the final stages of construction, ensuring finishing work, snagging and defects are completed to the required standard before handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise finishing works on site, ensuring quality and readiness for handover.
- Identify snagging items and defects, coordinate remedial work and check completion.
- Organise site teams and subcontractors to deliver outstanding works efficiently.
- Monitor progress and communicate any issues affecting completion to the project team.
- Maintain safe working practices throughout the finishing and handover stages.
What You'll Need
- Previous foreman experience, ideally overseeing finishing works on construction or civils projects.
- A good understanding of snagging, defect resolution and handover standards.
- The ability to coordinate site teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to resolving site issues.
- A sound understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Willingness to work across project locations from Dublin to Banbridge.
