About the Role
Microlise is looking for a Field Service & Installation Engineer to support its growing and established customer base in Exeter and the surrounding areas. This permanent, field-based role combines installation work with ongoing service and customer support. You will help ensure customers receive a reliable, professional engineering service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation and field service work at customer sites across Exeter and the surrounding areas.
- Investigate technical faults and carry out appropriate repairs or adjustments.
- Check installations and serviced equipment to confirm correct operation.
- Communicate clearly with customers about work carried out and any further support required.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits and installation activities.
- Work safely and follow relevant procedures when attending customer sites.
What You'll Need
- Practical engineering skills relevant to installation, servicing and fault-finding.
- A methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused manner.
- The ability to organise your workload and work independently in a field-based role.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in Exeter and the surrounding areas.
