About the Role
Cullum Detuners Limited is seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract role at its manufacturing facility in Heanor, Derbyshire. You will support the upkeep of buildings and electrical services, helping maintenance activities meet planned schedules, manufacturing requirements and emergency needs. The role also involves health, safety and environmental monitoring to support compliance with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out HSE monitoring activities to support business health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate building maintenance activities across the Heanor facility.
- Control electrical maintenance activities in line with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Prioritise maintenance requirements to support manufacturing operations and respond to emergency requests.
- Assist with the control and issue of site equipment.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience in facilities maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- A practical understanding of building upkeep and electrical maintenance requirements.
- Awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements and relevant legislation.
- The ability to organise planned maintenance while responding to urgent operational needs.
- A safety-conscious approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the site.
