About the Role
Network Plus is seeking an Estimator for a contract role in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, with a salary of £50,000–£60,000. Working as part of the wider commercial team, you will support the bid process through accurate pricing and effective cost management. You will take responsibility for pre-contract cost elements and help deliver robust, competitive estimates, applying strong commercial awareness throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing to support tenders and bids.
- Review tender information to identify scope, cost requirements and potential commercial risks.
- Conduct site visits to inform estimates and understand project requirements.
- Manage pre-contract cost elements, ensuring assumptions and calculations are clearly recorded.
- Work with the wider commercial team to develop competitive, commercially sound submissions.
What You'll Need
- Experience preparing estimates or supporting construction tender pricing.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of pre-contract cost management.
